They had one of those for sale here a couple years back that I stopped and checked out for giggles. Couldn't get over how tiny it was :D

I looked at one a few years ago, but I could not get in it, even to just test it out!! A Nice bed on back. Sides folded down to make it even wider.

There is no room to move the seat back. It's designed for someone "slight of frame".

Back in the early 70's when I was in the Navy, I was stationed in Japan. I was also heavily into dirt bikes and had one of those type of "trucks" to haul my bike on. Had a 360cc, two cylinder, two stroke engine and a 4 speed trans.

I'm 6' tall and weighed about 175 at the time (ah, youth...) and I looked pretty silly folded over the steering wheel of that thing, but it got the job done!

A friend visited American relatives in Japan last year and said the export market for "Bongo" vans and pick-ups is huge. They only last under tight Japanese emissions limits for 3-4 years and then have to be sold and exported. I have been thinking about one but wonder about getting parts.

Can you say "grey market!"

:)
