IMO i see no problem with using Shell Rotella oil for a Kubota engine. As far as everything else goes I will use nothing but Kubota filters, and Kubota UDT2 super oil for the HST. The difference in filter construction is dramatic, when it comes to a Kubota oil filter cartridge vs other brands.

I agree on the Rotella. i’ve been using Delo for the last year in my truck and tractor. The wear data for both oils is good. I had Gotten a good deal on Delo last year and the reason I have stayed with it is on my Ram Diesel, the oil pressure gauge when using Rotella runs lower at idle after about 3000 miles. With Delo, it doesn’t drop as much at idle between oil changes. Makes no sense but it’s like the viscosity changes on the Rotella. No scientific oil analysis to back that up. Just an observation of the pressure gauge. Don’t get me wrong, Rotella is a great oil. It is just a personal experience
