What are the metal bars bolted to your rear rims.

The previous owner made wheel weights out of 1" steel plate 18.5" in Dia, weighing 27 Lbs each, with 3 on each rear wheel, held flat by square tubing. Three suitcase weights for front @ 60 Lbs each.

Oh yes, I'm quite famaliar with sand drifts, we have many in the winter when the Artic Express drops the temperature into the fifties. Last year they actually had frost one night that really destroyed a lot of the tomato crop about ten miles away. Tomato's are trucked from here to L.A. and San Francisco area. The tomato pickers work an eight hour day for the equilivent of 7 -9 US dollars. I wear shorts year around unless it's really cold, then I wear winter lenght shorts (Levi's).
