I have a switch on the right fender of my recently acquired B7800 that seems to do nothing. It's not standard equipment and was added, I assume, by the previous owner. The dealer doesn't know what it does. It seems to be wired into the lighting harness.

I've eliminated the obvious (self-destruct, ejector seat etc).

If any of you have any ideas they would be much appreciated. I've attempted to add a picture of it.

Thanks!

If its wired to the lighting harness my guess would be that its for auxilary lights on the rear of the tractor perhaps.

Seems logical to assume front or rear work lights.... should be simple to trace the wiring.

Yes. It now looks like a work light was on there. Previous owner used a snow blower and there it looks like it was a rear mount as there is no sign of wear on the front/middle of tractor. Also there are four screw holes in the fender indicating a mounting position and a spare connect. Only one way to find out...

Thanks

Suggestions:

1. Put your helmet and Nomex suit on

2. Fasten your seat belt

3. Say a prayer

4. Flip the switch

5. Report back after you land safely
