My parts diagram shows the fenders having an extension, "FENDER, extension, {RH}/{LH}", and the handles, "BALUSTRADE, {RH}/{LH}" bolted to it. The extension is fastened to the fender with bolts along the outer rim of the fender.

My fenders have bolts along the edge of the fender (2 more than are shown), and the handles are mounted to the fenders on the inner side of the fenders.

So, what is the purpose of the bolts? I thought I had seen pics of B6100s with a black piece ~3" wide running the length of the fender, but it must have been another model; I can't find anything similar now.

I'm thinking about this because my tires are entirely outside the fenders. (Don't worry, skeets, I'm not spinning the wheels and flinging mud!) Fender extensions that extend out over the wheels would make it a lot easier to get off without having to use the muddy tire for a handhold. I haven't seen any fab articles about add-on fenders for the little Bs, so thought I'd ask for your thoughts.

Thanks!

I don't quite understand your situation. Are you saying that your tractor does not have the fender extensions? Or that you want wider than what the factory ones cover?

Just get some fender flares for a 4x4 truck, they come in all widths, and bolt them on.

Yep. Yep.

No fender extensions; I do have the "balustrades" and they are bolted to the fenders, yet there are bolt holes (with bolts in them) along the edge as if for extensions.

Yes, I would like wider fenders. I think.
