My take on BX fuel filter(s)

I like the idea, but

With my luck I would need to add this.....That thing would be on the deck in minutes.....LOL

Hell, I knocked mine off my L within the fist 20 minutes of going into the woods.

That was installed 3 years ago.... I guess a year ago It started leaking... needed new gaskets... got disillusioned with the entire thing and threw it in the garbage can.

I replaced it with the same exact plastic canister filter that is under the hood.

so, now I run 2 plastic filters. works fine.

in hind-site, I think the "racor type" filter is a waste of time.
It doesn't do any better job of filtering than the stock plastic filter.

It also takes up WAY too much room... wherever you mount it.

I have a plan for better, more compact application. I like the idea so I can monitor and drain any water. I call it collective testing. I didn't bite on the Racor.

Mine is ordered, hasn't arrived.

Can anyone tell me the fitting/thread size of the included fittings on the knock-off filter?
