Must be that time of year! I just finished picking up this years leaves with the same BX and bagger system. Overall, I too am quite happy with this set up. The vast majority of our leaves are maple, with some cherry, apple and who knows what thrown in. We have some steep ground and it has been fairly wet this Fall. I hung about 125 pounds of ballast off the front end to help with steering. My steer tires would wash out going up-hill when the bags were close to full with wet leaves. For the last nine years I have been using a John Deere 425 with a Power Flow and cart set-up. For suction, the two systems seem pretty equal. The cart holds a little more material but the bags are handier around the trees. Another nice thing with the Kubota is the ability to pull the bagger boot off the deck and run only the rear PTO when raking out a flower bed. The JD blower ran off of the outboard deck spindle. The Kubota bagger does take longer to mount or remove. Not a big deal for me as I don't bag except during leaf season.
Sorry Skeets, like the OP, I don't have any tractor porn to post either.
