Just bought a '97 L2350 on Friday. Ran if a few hours, stopped it, then when I came back it was dead as a brick. The previous owner said that the ignition switch would not warm the glow plugs, and once you turned it on you need to jiggle it to make sure the fuel gauge was up and the hours running, and that if I didn't it would drain the battery.
I ran it, I stalled it out, and it died. I wasn't paying attention to the switch and figured I ran the battery down, so I charged it over night. Got on it today, turned the ignition, and I get absolutely nothing. I can get the hazards to work, but that is it. No clicking...nothing. The battery sparks. Is this the ignition switch? I have the part ordered, but could it be something else?
Help?
