I am the proud recent owner of 3 B7800 wrecks. My plan is to make 2 good ones out of three since parts are tough to get now. One of them has hydraulic issues. HST doesn't work all the time when you push on the peddle and makes a loud tranny grunt when it does. The Other issue is the power steering doesn't work. This wreck didn't have a dipstick so I figured they ran it out of oil so I changed the oil and it only had half the oil it was supposed to have in it after I drained the old oil. I filled it with new oil and it seemed to fix the tranny issue for a bit then failed again. The power steering did not work at all with full hydraulic fluid. My plan for this is to swap a good hydraulic pump from other B7800 and see if I get tranny and steering back. Loader and 3PH work fine on this tractor with no issues. Anybody with a similar experience or knowledge of this problem would greatly be appreciated.
