My Kubota B9200

This was my papaw's until a few weeks ago when he passed. I have been around this tractor all my life (a short 22 years). This is a great tractor and is a real workhorse! Here are a few pics and there are more to come!

Codi, there's just as much rubber on the tires in the second picture as in the first.

That tractor looks clean, be proud of what your gramps left you, do NOT be driving it "like you stole it"!

Haha I don't. If anything I baby it. The front tires were dry wrotted real bad so I replaced those. The back ones will likely dry rot before the tread is gone on them. The tractor only has 1266 hours on it.

I will do my best! There seems to be a great group that I can come to for help if I run into anything as far as servicing it. I have all of papaw's records from when he services it since he bought it and I plan to continue that practice. Though I'm not going to be able to be on it for a few weeks because of my back surgery.

Yep it was! He and waxed it twice a year and I just washed a waxed it last weekend. I'm going to have some lettering put across the back under the SMV sign that says "In loving memory of Papaw" I think it would be a nice touch.

I have kids your age, and I would be damn proud of them if they HAD children that thought about the relationship of man and machine and wanted one to continue running after the other one could not! I wonder if I have gk's if they would want to inherit some skill and thoughts for their grandfather!

Keep her waxed and running - papaw one would be proud!

Yeah I have! I wish I could find the picture of him holding me when I was 6 months old while he was driving the tractor. I was just as content on it then as I am now.

Thank Jerry! I hope to have the tractor back soon and hope to be feeling better so I can get back to operating the tractor. someone will probable have to take the keys from me.

My surgery went great btw but the surgeon said stay off the tractor and no driving until I see him in a couple weeks. not happy about that...

I am excited for you as well, your papaw would be proud I am sure. I spent 43 years hanging with my Grandad and he was my hero. I rode around on Ford, Massey and Case tractors with that man for hours. I truly miss him and my Gramma as well.

My Dad is a retired Millwright that is giving away his collection of tools to my four tradesmen Son right now. He says they need them now not when his dead.

That is the thing about inheriting something. I am so excited and proud to have papaw's tractor but at the same time, it's hard to except it completely because he had to pass for me to have it. But before he died I was able to tell him that he was my hero and I would think of him every time I got in it.
