here is a pic on my L1500 pushing snow. that 6 ft blade is just right for this tractor. let me tell u this machine has 15 honest percherons under the hood.
i had a wind row at the end off my driveway and i had a foot of snow comeing over the top of the blade and no hesitation or lack of power or traction.
i,m running in 3rd gear high range. the hardfaceing studs are working beautifuly. we are getting another 8 in by towmorrow morning. that mirror
is awsome. why didn,t think of this years ago . thanks mr K and Vic for
this wonderful group.

Looks like it's working well for you.

It's 60*+ (f) here, I've still got the 4' bushog attached and working in short sleeves lol

LRP, I have to echo what B7100hst-d said. We may see temps in the high 30's tonight, but supposed to warm back up in the 70's by this weekend. Thanks for the picture and I like to way you described those "honest horses" you have under the hood!

Can I ask what hardfaceing studs are? Are they something to do with the tires and traction?

As a matter of fact I do dimly recall that folks living in the rest of the country use studded tires. It was the term "hardfacing" that was new to me...

Now that's a cool picture. Great looking set up you have there. By the looks of the snow you already have down your going to put that beast to good use. We had our first snow yesterday that I had to push and I wake this morning and it's all melted. Maybe I should get a squeegee for a cutting edge :D

Great photo. Happy tractoring.
