Hello there Old and Tired, the meeting and test drive went well, he did purchase the tractor from a dealer in texas and does buy the smaller tractors on a regular basis from them, he became a dealer in 2010, I also knew about the "Extra Power" stickers on the hood starting in 2008, the sight glass looked in excellent condition, the tractor has been just serviced (new white filters) however to what extent I don't know yet but he does have it documented, what I saw was obvious sun damage, 1 white electrical plug below the steering wheel on the left side literally rotted away and lots of hydraulic line cracking which we looked at together, I explained to him what I knew about the pto cams and the hood stickers and the fact that it was sold in 2005, he did seem honestly shocked and he stated I know more about that tractor than he does, I told him it's a military thing about doing research and I had help : ) and that I like the tractor and it will fit my needs perfectly, of course he wants to check out the year, he also has a decent sized disc used (was his) on his lot and is asking $800 for, I'm sure we can put a deal together he's currently asking 14.5K but thats based on him thinking it's a 2010, he has already located a quick disconnect bucket conversion that he said he'd do for $800, I'm thinking probably 13.5K total for conversion and disc but I'm not sure. I don't mind him eating steak but I don't want to pay for a years worth : ). your help has been invaluable. On your 6ft box blade does it have scarifiers? He is also a Lands- Pride dealer
