My wife has issues on our tractor where she pulls the seat all the way up but she still has to sit on the very front of the seat to operate it. When she does, the tractor sometimes stalls bc of the safety switch; especially driving up hill. Therefore she has to sit back in the seat which causes her to lean forward too much and its not comfortable.
Can the seat be adjusted to move more forward? We do not want to bypass the switch in any way.
Any thoughts would be helpful,
Steve

She just needs more pizza, bacon cheeseburgers and some donuts and it will work fine

I also thought softening up the suspension might help. I have it set pretty stiff for me but i outweigh her by 100 pounds.

My brother had a similar issue with his 95lb wife driving his JD nearly as much as his 250lb self. They got tired of having to adjust the spring tension in the seat from one extreme to the other and replaced the OEM spring suspension seat with a Grammer air ride which adjusts at the touch of a button to give them both a good ride and no issues with the seat presence sensor despite their highly disparate mass. Not cheap but cheap isn’t in his vocabulary.
