I bought this tractor yesterday. I am still learning about it but the manual is not helpful.

A branch came under the tractor and pulled off a rubber hose on the right side of the tractor. It also dislodged a metal hose that I am sure goes to the front end loader. As soon as this happened the power steering went out then the front end loader. Lots of hydraulic fluid poured out.

I reattached the rubber hose but then I found the metal hose still leaking at the attachment point.

I can not find the dipstick anywhere to check the hydraulic fluid nor where to put fluid in. Also does this same fluid go to the transmission?

The rear brush cutter still raises and lowers.

Thanks for all the help.

Hope you bought kubota insurance!

Don't run it without fixing the hydraulic line completely as running it low on fluid can damage a lot of systems.

You fill it behind the seat and DON'T use cheap fluid, You need to use Kubota SUDT-2 in it.

I don't think it has a dipstick most newer models have a sight glass on the back of the transmission.

The transmission fluid and hydraulic fluid are the same? I shut if off as soon as the power steering went out. Now it’s sitting in the middle of some thick woods.

Yes the fluids are the same i.e. there is only one fluid for the trans and hydraulics

Yep...all from the same reservoir...IE, the transmission.
