Those look like they go to the battery +. Is that one large and two medium gauge wires. Usually the large is from the starter, and the two med are to fuse/alternator. Nothing else is connected to the pos terminal right?

Can you trace that wire loom and see where those go?

I wanna say it looks like OEM - but it is hard to tell from that angle.

Someone have some light on and took them off?

They were just cut when I got the machine. Right now the only thing connected to the positive of the battery is the larger heavy gauge wire and a smaller one with a connector.

I'll have to check the 3 wire gauges and colors tomorrow when I get to work.

If anyone has a pic of their stock one that would be awesome to see what it originally looked like!

fairly certain that set of wires feeds a set of slow blow fuses. I think those fuses are normally attached to a fuse block that slides onto a bracket just above those wires. I could be wrong.

Here is a link to the wiring diagram on Messick’s website from the Kubota parts pages. If you zoom in, you can see the Fuses that Lugbolt mentioned. If I didn’t choose the correct version of your tractor, go back to the beginning of the Messick’s website and put in the correct model to get the right parts pages.

I think they might be OEM, they may be a pro upgrade, I don't know.

'Thinking' can be dangerous and costly, KNOWING is what you need.
Find the WSM and printout the wiring diagram. That way you KNOW what the wires are for, where they go.

Sounds like you need the WSM for 'other things' that are in need of fixing,so WSM will help !!!!

I checked the wires and:

1 wire goes into fuse box and has 12v
1 wire goes to starter relay (12v supply)
1 wire goes to alternator post

I'm guessing they were all fused and connected together?

You can guess if you want but that usually will 'bite' you and cost you more $$$$$$$.

Say the alternator(or starter ) is shorted and you wire them up...
Dead shorted alternator(or starter ) fries everything connected to battery with massive EMP and the posts are superheated so you can't disconnect the wires... as your 10mm went flying when the EMP scared you.....

If it's anything like my B2650, it's the wiring that goes to/from the slow blow fuses. The picture is from when I picked mine up from an auction. It was a big corroded mess in there.

One wire going to the fuse block would be from the battery and two wires coming from the fuse block would be for the glow plugs and for the main wiring harness.

I've been diagnosing this thing and it appears to be 4 slow burn fuses at the end of those wires that were cut off. 1 wire comes from batter, one goes to alternator, and 1 goes to glow plug relay.

So far water was in everything, drained it all out, wouldn't crank off key and had to check continuity across all ECU pins and found sensors that were pissed causing the no crank. chassis ECU was OK. Then the main relay that energizes the engine ECU was not powering up properly and it appears I have a faulty engine ECU...on the hunt for one now since they seem to be unobtanium.

Yes slow blow fuses, depends on exact model and options to as how many fuses it should have.

You said there was water damage.
Any chance the engine became hydrolocked (water in the cylinders) in addition to the electrical issues? That might explain a few things and maybe point to needing to fix more than one thing to get it running. Hope that is not the case and your repairs are not extensive.

Engine sounds ok cranking but won't know if there is a bent rod until we get it running. Crossing fingers
