Mx5100 hst

Hello everyone,
I am new to these message boards and new to the Kubota world.

I just purchased an MX5100HST (only 170 hours) with a front loader, snow blower, Land pride blade and a very old bush-hog mower. My #1 priority right now is learning about my new tractor and how to do proper regular maintenance myself. I cannot seem to find any service videos or user manuals on-line for my specific model. Does anyone know of any websites/links that will have information for the MX5100HST?

Welcome to OTT from Alabama. Since I don't have a MX tractor, I can't really help but Wolfman proably can help. You might want to contact a local dealer for a Workshop Manual, or Messicks has it for $66.50 Kubota MX5100 (DT), (F) Service Manual Part #9Y121-00870

Where are you located in Ontario?
I live outside Cornwall and my dealer was very good at providing all shop manuals on a USB stick which I had to provide.

In the purchase of the new tractor we spent a lot of time together discussing technical matters and he learned that I am an engineer and like to know how things work. His on line system with Kubota gave him access to a wealth of manual information..
One day he said bring me a USB stick and I will give you all the manuals for your tractor.
The dealers have the info. They are probably not supposed to hand it out but will do so if circumstances are right.
I had his mechanic come to my shop and do the 50 hour service. It was more costly but I learned a lot from the mechanic and slipped him a few extra $. If the work was done in their shop I would probably not been allowed into the shop.
Perhaps an approach like that could get you what you need.

If a dealer is willing to do that for you that's great!

If you have a dealer that won't, here is the right P/N for the WSM for the MX5100HST is 9Y121-00872 at around $116.03.
The other manual is cheaper but it does not cover the needed info and specs for the HST model.

I think that is a good idea Dave. Have the mechanic come to my place to do the 200 hour service and he can give me a full walk through of the machine.
I will keep you posted how things go, and if I am able to get some manuals.
