I just bought my first Kubota! 2011 MX5100 with 852 hours. Got home and as soon as I got it off the trailer noticed low power. like 1500 RPM max, I looked it all over and noticed an injector leaking at the head. bubbles coming up.
I also added some fuel treatment and bled the system. Power has come up, but governor seems unstable. Still chasing fuel delivery possibilites but I think I have two probably unrelated issues. Back to the leaky injector. I tightened the nut holding down the fuel return line and the injector fuel line. I blew it all off clean with compressed air and watched it.
The first spot to get wet is the groove where the two sections of the injector body. Run it a while and you can see bubbling fuel at the base of the injector where it screws into the head.
Anyone see this before? Ideas?
Do I have to remove the fuel tank to get at the injector like it appears?
Thanks!!
