Hi folks, I’ve got an MX4800 and it is getting almost impossible to read the LCD display that shows the hours, error codes, etc (pictured). What is the best way to fix this?

Replace it.
But a replacement may be horribly expensive. And a lot of data is stored in the meter assy and would be back to zero. There are a few places that repair automobile instrument LCD's, I'd reach out to a few of them. Most are small biz that consists of a expert electronics tech and an assistant. It still may be pricey but a lot cheaper than a new assy and your data will be saved.
