MX 6000 grill guard

I received my new grapple recently and see the value of a grill guard. Any suggestions on which one and where to purchase?

I use Dawson Harris from Tate Metals he makes them custom for you. If you use Facebook going the MX series tractors group and he's on there a lot.

Ed, I never considered a grill guard a theft protection device. NICE JOB, ain't nobody stealing that tractor.

That tractor has to much dust on the hood it needs to get dirty !

That was during a dry winter spell in January. At that time no snow to plow and no vegetation to cut, too early for planting. It’s been well used recently.

After my oops a few weeks ago(up through the chin hole), I have now received my Lown grill/ chin guard. They did a trial on a specialty request on the paint for me. I have not opened/installed yet…hope to do it this weekend. Lown seemed very friendly and flexible. I hope it fits well. If you have any pointes on the install for proper alignment with the grill guard tilt please advise. I appreciate the advice. Thanks.

Same here, but cost me $100, and I had to spray it ( I never use rattle cans ).
Prices for everything tractor related are high in the NE.

My recommendation is to install the chain bucket/chin guard first, then the grill guard. Use clamps to position the grill guard and make sure there is clearance to tilt the grill guard forward without scraping the chin guard. Then drill and bolt.
