in the hour window i have a code that comes up PO 336. does anyone know what that means?

WSM gives this as the result for that code "Crankshaft position sensor (NE sensor) abnormality"

What does that mean, and what do i need to d to clear out the code?

If it's anything like my 7.3 Navistar diesel in my pickup, replacing the sensor cures the issue. CPS sensors are nothing more than a simple Hall Effect sensor that senses a magnetic field, usually a magnet is placed on a rotating piece (crankshaft) and the sensor controls injection timing. Mine are cheap (20 bucks) your may be expensive.
