Hi guys, first post here, I have a friend who recommended this site and said there are some really smart friendly people who post here.

My tractor is the MX5000 with about 130 hrs on it, only use it to plow snow for the most part. Well, I have a bucket attached to my front lift and a rear blade attached to my 3-point. Here's my issue; when I lift my rear blade all the way up, my front lift stops working and I can hear the engine draw down. If I back it off a few inches, the front lift works fine. Also, the rear blade will not go all the way down into the "float" position.

I live in the sticks, so the closest dealership is about a 100 miles away, so I'm hoping someone might have a self fix recommendation. Already replaced the hydraulic filter, that doesn't seem to be the issue.

Any ideas or recommendations?

Thanks for reading and thanks for any responses!

I have a mx 5100 and had the same issue. You need to readjust the lever for your 3 point hitch so it does not come up as far. You are putting the 3 pt in bind and if you continue to do it you will burn up your pump. There are 2 bolts on the lever that need to be loosened then readjusted then re-tightened. There should be a small stop bolted to the top of the cover that stops the adjusting lever from going to far.

As helomech stated you need to adjust 3 pt feedback rod by loosening jam nuts and turning turnbuckle.
