Years ago I perused this site for help and advice related to my Kubota L1801. I ended up selling it as I moved into a 65 Massey. Sold the Massey the other day and am now the proud owner of a MX4700.

Former owner bent the adjustable stabilizer arm. I would like to replace with the telescoping variety but have been unable to find a part number. Any help is greatly appreciated.

They don’t show one:

You may have to tell us the max/min lengths you’re looking for and perhaps someone can tell you what might fit?

We removed the old arm and went to Kubota dealer with a decent inventory and matched to a newer tractor with adjustable arms. The dealers are not eager to match stuff up sometimes on older equipment. The would rather you buy new with the features installed as a package. To convert a MX 5000 it cost about $450.

I spoke with the dealer this am. Neither the parts dude or sales dude couldn’t come up with a part number.

I would be real surprised if a part from a different series didn’t work. It’s not exactly an elaborate piece of technology.

Post a picture of the turnbuckle as you removed it and measure eye to eye. Then post a picture of each end at the attachment point on the tractor.

That information should allow anyone to measure there and let you know if it fits, and on what tractor.
