If I had a buzzbox back when I did this, I'd have gotten a little more creative and tried to get the ball mounted a bit closer to the front of the bucket (still might try that if I think I'll have to start moving trailers around on a regular basis) because I've have to be careful to keep an eye on making sure (if moving a trailer on uneven ground) that the front edge of the bucket doesn't come into contact with the trailer frame just behind the hitch. My preference is trailer attatched to front of tractor. A little practice and its easy to place trailer exactly where you want it. If i had a loader, i would mount a ball to top of bucket, extend it forward off bucket a few inches. Roll bucket forward, set ball under coupler and roll it back.
I have had situations with trailers on my three point trailer adapter, tandem trailers backing into storage shed, and back heavy units will lift the 3 point. Not the case with a backhoe on it but my thoughts are its heavy enough back there, wouldnt want to stress three point any more than i have to.
Otherwise, its quick and dirty.... And fairly sturdy
