My kubota L3240 engine locked up. Found a good d1703 engine from a bobcat. Just wondering how hard and what all is involved before I pull the trigger. Greatly appreciated the anticipated help!!!

It's a pretty straight forward swap.
Unbolt and split it and remove old motor and install new motor.

Your very likely going to need to swap out a few parts on the engine, Oil pan, intake manifold, exhaust manifold and a host of other parts.

governor might be different. Linkages, just compare the two engines and you'll figure it out

Alright folks im back at. Last engine deal fell through and can’t really get any answers I’m looking for. Now I’ve found a d1803-cr-ef01.
I know things gotta be changed out between engines. But will this engine work in my L3240? Thanks a ton
