Just added a new B2601 to my barn and curious what attachments you guys use most. It does have a FEL but no BH. I have a Kubota trachoe so really no need for the BH. I got the third function so am looking for the right grapple for the little tractor. What model do you guys have? I got it for the convenience of its size to use mostly just around the house. Would love to hear what all you guys use your for.

The most used set I have on the tractor is the pallet forks in front with BB1560 box blade on the 3-point.

Everything Attachments for the grapple win!
Excellent product, and light weight.

Congratulations.

To you question on attachment…In order of most used (bucket or grapple or trailer is 3 way tie):
1. Artillian Pallet forks and ballast box
2. MMM
3. Loader bucket and ballast box
3. LP Grapple and ballast box
3. Small fabricated off-road trailer
4. LP Tiller (seasonal)
5. WM Chipper (seasonal)

Most used front - the grapple. Land Pride SG0654 claw grapple - I have had great service from it; I mostly use it to move brush and logs. I like the claw design; you reach over the brush to compact and grip it against the ground. You tend to get very full loads without having stuff poking back at your grill (I have not felt the need to buy a grill guard).

There are many well made / US made grapples, and they are all tougher than your FEL. If I am going to pop small bushes out of the ground, I use my bucket with the tooth bar.

Most used rear - the rotary cutter edges out the finish mower.

Before I got my Homestead Implements Root Grapple, I would say my pallet forks. Then I would say the box blade and then my chipper. The backhoe comes in handy too.

When my backhoe is off, my weight box usually goes on. Next would be my snowblower and the snowplow for the final cleanup of the driveway. I have given much thought to getting a grapple but with the limited lift capacity of the BX23S, I don't think that I would get that much use out of it. I have a post-hole digger that I acquired for free a few years ago and have never even tried it out. Unlike most of the members here I don't use my tractor today like I used my old BX22 since I have aged to the point that it is more a snow removal device than anything else. The last time I dug a trench with the backhoe was 3 years ago.

Grapple and forks. But if I didn’t have 70 acres, mostly wooded, I probably wouldn’t have a grapple at all. Box blade for road and trail maintenance is a close second. Depends a lot on what jobs you have for it.

Grapple and Rear finishing Mower. I use W.R. Long Bolt on grapple for a couple of reasons, I still like to use the bucket AND the grapple at the same time. It's very light at 143 pounds (they now have a lighter version that's 133 pounds), I don't know much about that one. I can disconnect the lid of the grapple if I need to. (I used to do that a bunch but have not needed to do that for a while).
