Spent a few hours yesterday mostly cleaning up the old wiring for the Aux lighting and added 2 more lights up top facing forward.. gives me 2 front, 2 back, plus the headlights..

I left a spot in the wiring back above the 3 point for a work-light, I was thinking of adding a switched light back there for when the Shear Pin breaks at 4:30 am in a snowstorm so I am not trying to hold a flashlight and change it at the same time :) Figured a work-light back there would be pretty handy, now I just have to find the right one for the job..
Took the time to re-route all the wiring and the switch to the left side of the Tractor so when I am turned around running the snowblower I wouldn't be grabbing it with my right hand resting on the ROPS.. Also spent the extra $5 for tubing to run the wires through and went with all the same color wiring for all the lights

Just standard Tractor lighting no really cool Hi-Vis stuff :(

Re: More Lights, for the L3600 Pics !!!

You guys are so right..

Got some pics of the mounting and switch location

I mounted the switch right in an existing hole by the left hand side Flasher, it is easy for me to get at and still out of the way when working.. The old one was down under the seat on the right side side and I could not get to it with gloves on..

We got in about 4 inches of snow last night so I got some snaps from early this morning

Tis a wee bit dark in the North woods at 5:30am

Getting back to the house at about 7:30 am

I tell ya it was really nice going to bed last night with snow falling and really not having to worry about getting up early enough so that there wasn't more than 6 inches out there.. The PTO power on this Tractor is 3 times what the L185 was on it's best day so it just powers through everything...:p

If you want to be insane and have some extra fun money, find two par-36 H3 flood lamps and get the HID/H3 kit. Did this for my backhoe as I use it a lot at night, the amount of light is pretty nuts. The item with the reflective stripe is 250 feet back and the woodpile another 50 behind that.

On mine it had the rubber insert par 36 headlights like a standard case, 4416 bulb, popped the bulbs out and found a set of par 36 floods that use an H3 halogen bulb. So oem headlight location on the Case and replacement bulbs. I have a couple of the Hella FF lamps for the dozer, those run an H3 and also look great with the HID bulb conversion kit.

the par 36 aircraft landing light bulbs will really light up the night… they do pull some current, i think 100 amps.. so test one on a pickup or other equipment first.. to see how much current they will use… don't need the tractors alternator giving up early...

If you look close on mine and on bcbulls you will note that neither of us drilled into the ROPS steel, we both mounted the lights on a plate that was mounted using clamps, to the ROPS..
My thinking is that the ROPS might have to save my dumb A$$ someday and I did not want to possibly weaken it by drilling holes in it...
