OK this maybe out there some,,, BUT ,,, What is the ratio of motor RPM vs the mid PTO? I figure it has to be much higher than the 540 on the rear PTO. It has accrued to me, that if the rpm is high enough maybe,, just maybe ,, someone could figure out a way to mount an old generator , with a blown motor,, to run the gen head. Just a thought from an idle mind

1st one is 90% 2500/2753) 2nd is about 80% (3500/3043)

Actual blade speed depends on MMM gearbox ratio and pulley diameters

Just a suggestion. Why not use the rear PTO? It'd probably be easier to connect / disconnect and you can likely use a PTO shaft you already have. I made a leaf blower years ago by mounting a scavenged squirrel cage blower from an HVAC unit. Got the RPM data from the unit and calculated for two pulleys to run it. Worked out well.

Ran out of storage and cannibalized it for another project. Last couple years I blew them with a side-discharge deck or blanked off the big rear discharge and ground them up.
