Years as above.
Bent the unsupported (exit chute) right front on a stump or such.
Took wheel (tilted back at bottom) off for a spell, just this week jacked it (the wheel support) up enough to straighten deck back, YAY!
Hit another stump today, same bend - it's just out there in the wind, with NO support.
So, thinking how to add support.
Upper, drill, thread both right hand (front and back) wheel support shafts (raise, lower), and all-thread or cable in tension to help support right front wheel from going backwards, again. OR
Lower, add a bar from rear of mower to front at bottom of deck (much like bottom of bagger boot). I suspect it may grab a bit, but the boot never does there (as though the grass flow is 'high' in the passage).
Or both.
Any thoughts?
Oh, yeah, and stop hitting stuff...
Not gonna' happen, and that one point is so unsupported.
THX!
