TG1860, BX2380 -backblade, bx2830 snowblower, fel, weight box,pallet forks,etc
No, I don't want to *USE* both at the same time....my question is just for front ballast or transport purposes.
BX2380---48" front blower w/ K-connect, 54" MMM, no loader
I was wanting to move my snowblower to another location y'day and noticed I can "almost" get it mounted but the little driveshaft hanging out the back of the K-connect physically interferes with hanging the K-connect mount as it butts up against a small (4"?) horizontal cross brace bar on the MMM's front connect rack (for lack of a better explanation).
Almost seems like if that MMM front bracket were a saddle or inverted-U, I could put the snowblower on either as ballast or even just to move it to different locations around the property.
This tractor ownership is all new to me. After warranty (unless there's a good reason not to), I think I'll try that. It was sooooo close....my welder will be warmed up.
Anyone encountered this scenario? I do realize you probably wouldn't want that driveshaft on the K-connect to hit anything, all bare like that, but even just to move it, would've been a nice feature.
Darn thing is heavy., I have no idea how to move it, except to uninstall the MMM, which wasn't exactly easy. I am not a youngster anymore ;-)
