Is it an issue or even possible to use the MMM with the backhoe attached
on a BX25D other than the weight issue on the lawn?
Thanks,
Barry

Absolutely - there is not a problem at all! I did it for a while on my BX25D .....until the Kubota fairy gave me another tractor.......or two!:)

Works just fine, if you are sidehilling you can swing it up hill for stability. If you have a cement pad would recommend dropping the loader and backhoe for agility purposes.

I used to drop the bh when cutting the grass until one day I was lazy and left it on.
I liked the extra weight and now I leave it on.
Just have to remember you have a tail!

I left mine on, I was lazy. Grass was wet from record rains. Didnt wreck anything but you can see the mud tracks. Dropped my loader and hoe for the next mow, and it was actually better.

Thanks for all the responses. My wife will be so happy that we can get more grass cut if we use two mowers. I have grass I still haven't cut yet and I am having too much fun with the backhoe to take it off. She uses the John Deere (sorry) but with all the rain we have had she can't keep up. Last summer we had a drought here and I didn't put the mower on at all as the grass didn't grow. It will be fun to try out that shiny new mower.
Cheers,
Barry

Dont you be a pickin on that john deere now... i still own my JD420 i bought brand new in 1989, still mowing the yard, still plows snow in the winter... but i DID buy a new BX23S FEL/BH/MMM couple weeks ago. No plans on using the mower though... i only bought the mmm with the deal because i only paid about $800 to add it in with the deal. If the ole JD ever breaks down, i still have a brand new 60" deck to mow with.

As for mowing with the BH & FEL. personally, i woudn`t stress the axle bearings anymore than needed. Its additional dead weight you dont need to carry around. And its not like they`re that hard to take off and put back on anyway. Your tractor, your business.
