I did once, now I just use an electric cement mixer. I guess it just depends on how much you got mix. It's really no different than a wheelbarrow.

In warm weather mix up a bucket full or whatever and then rinse off your front end loader arms, front of tractor or whatever has concrete on it. If it matters to keep stuff sort of clean. Then mix your next batch. Keep a scrub brush handy and do not wait till the end of the day. Especially in warm weather. Corners of the bucket will hold concrete thats not mixed well so keep a eye on them. Remember concrete gets hard under water, so you cannot fill bucket with water and come back and clean later [emoji28]

It would work but the cement mixer harbor freight sells is cheap and works really good. You could also build a wooden box out of plywood. I use that when I only have a bag or two to mix.

I plan on pouring a 8x10 for a fish cleaning shed and I thought the bucket would allow me to pour it with a little more reach towards the middle. Our concrete plant requires a three yard minimum to truck it to you I don't think I need that much. I will look at the H F MIXER. THANKS

The bucket will work fine, use a flat transfer shovel to mix and spray before it dries. The loader will also let you move the bags to the job.

Just an idea:

We have mini mixer service where I live.

They hold about 1.5 yards. I rented one of those and dumped it into the BX25 front bucket and wheeled it to where I needed it. It worked fantastic.
