Missing bolt

I noticed that one of the bolts from the frame to the rear pto housing is missing (left side in attached picture). Anyone know the size?

Looks like you're missing a spacer too. And the other bolt is loose. Take the ones you have to the hardware store and buy some just like them.

Other bolt isn't actually loose (I though so too) and there isn't a spacer, that is just the diameter of the shank.

Looks like you are indeed missing a spacer also. See items 70 and 80 on the parts diagram, unfortunately they don't give you the size.

The parts list calls it a Bolt, Diff Lock and Collar. Quantity (1) of each so there's not one on the other side. Looks like it may be a stop for that rod behind it in your picture. Is that part of the diff. lock linkage?

Hmm... so there isn't anything missing? Think maybe I should put something in to at least plug the hole (there is a little bit of rust developing in it). The rod is actually the T-handle on the seat assembly stop, so unrelated.

Get a can of spray paint and paint it.

I think there actually is a spacer ... if you look at the parts diagram, the spacer is quite short relative to the shank of the bolt, which appears to be a shouldered bolt. I guess the bolt goes through that upper plate so it can be removed. (EDIT) Actually, I think it's related to a vibration control system. Parts #040 "Rubber, Vib Proof", presumably compress and stretch. Parts #070 & #080 limit the amount of stretching by acting as a stop for plate #060 "stay (seat, rear)" If the plate lifts up too much it hits the head of the bolt.

Good call by @PoTreeBoy seeing that there's only one and not two. Funny how we see a threaded hole and automatically assume there should be a bolt in it.

The hole in the seat bracket is smaller on the left side than the right side that has the shoulder bolt/spacer. So, that bolt won't fit. Odd that the casting is threaded and the threaded area was masked during painting, so it gets quick surface rust. I'll toss a small bolt in it or a quick spot of spray paint come spring.
