Happy Veterans Day to all veterans!!!
When I was young and knew everything, it was during the Vietnam War days. I didn't get drafted and didn't sign up. I don't want to get into the politics of the war at that time, the only thing I will say that I was not a war protester.
As I got older and no longer knew everything, I started to regret that I did not serve my country. To help with that regret I became a volunteer EMT and firefighter for 24 years (until I got too old for that). I now also help out with town and school projects, sports teams field maintenance (love riding the commercial 0-turns!), donations- I do what I can.
My son served in the Air Force, and I am very proud of him for his service!
My long-winded point is Thank You To All Veterans For Your Service, dedication to this country, and protecting me and my family. I owe all of you everything.
