mid mount mower wont lift

hey guys i bought a rc60-71b to use with my b7100hst. i put the deck on and adjusted the links like the manual said but it seems like the 3 point hitch doesnt go up high enough to lift the deck or am i missing something....help...

Have you tried adjusting the control rod upper stop to make the arms lift higher? page 27 of the owners manual,
