Good day everyone,
2019 M7060 - 860hrs
I'm in the process of chasing down a problem with my engine bogging down when at operating temperature and under a load.
I think I've addressed the easier first steps (new fuel filters, verified supply pump pressure, cleaned screen in water separator, new hydraulic filters/fluid). I also repaired an internal linkage for the draft control hoping that could be the cause.
Still bogging down.
During this troubleshooting phase, I've had a few folks on this forum refer me to the service bulletin that identifies failing injectors. My tractor and serial number fall within the range of affected equipment.....but it's out of warranty.
Two question at this point:
Thank you,
TH

Two question at this point:
- Will Diagmaster pick up on past performance.......if the injectors are the culprit, will the diagnostic software see when they failed, or does Diagmaster need to see the symptom in real time?
- If I do need to replace injectors, what's the consensus on a DIY job (assuming average to a little above average mechanical skills) ?
Thank you,
