That’s a fairly new design (2013-2024) … There’s a reason for that idle-speed : Emissions Controls.

Even if you could change it, you’d likely be doing your emissions controls no favors and it’d end up costing you.

It has increased by about 200-300 rpms over the last few months. Regeneration cycles have not changed. Not sure if it due to 85+ temp over the last few weeks. More concerned about higher rpms on start when it is 30 below zero.

Idle speed on my 9 year old M7060 has always been 900 - 1000 rpm. If memory serves me correctly that's what it is set to idle at, at the factory.

Idle is consistent at 1000 rpms and does not go lower. Any suggestion how to adjust lower? 1900 hours.
Idle speed spec for the M7060 is 950RPM to 1000 RPM.
The engine is a Common Rail, Tier 4, so you can not change it anyway.
