M7060 GRILL GUARD

I fabbed a couple of pieces of expanded metal over my grill guard of my M7060 and my neighbor welded them. I recently put a hole in my bonnet with a tree limb that made it through the grapple. I learned that the wire mesh bonnet is $700, luckily I just let KTAC replace it.

I took the guard to a shop to get sand blasted and am planning on painting it this week.

Should I go back Kubota orange, which I can't find locally, and is higher than giraffe pu$$y, or just go matte black?

Looks good! As far as color choice you could flip a coin but I would would prefer black myself.

OMG you owe me a keyboard cause I just spit coffee all over mine!!!!!

I just went to NAPA and had them color match mine. The guy did a phenomenal job and I got 1/2 gallon for 75 bucks and it is an identical match. However, that is just for touch up and the like.

I like the black contrast personally though.

I'd recommend welding some rod on those expanded metal ends, they tend to be razor sharp and easy to snag/cut clothing/skin/etc on.

Or run a piece of material across them like this.

Curious as to why you left an arrow slot down the middle that sticks will me magnetically attracted to????

That slot is non-existent when assembled. I'm going to put hose on the exposed top end.
