Had a guy call me on his M7060HDC saying his A/C quit. Upon inspection I found a rat had chewed some wires behind the A/C switch panel but it was just the dome light wires. I have checked all the relays, fuses and slow blow fuses. I can manually put a hot wire to the compressor and it blows cold. Issue is when you hit the A/C switch I get .8v then when you cut the switch off you get 12v and I can’t figure out why it is working backwards from what the work shop manual shows. I can’t find a detailed wiring diagram of the A/C system

See if this helps. May be what you are already have. Looks to me like the switch provides the ground for the ac relay. I would say what you are seeing with your meter is the correct operation. I would be looking at the power supply to and from the relay and try swapping the relay with one of the others. You may have more mouse damage under the seat where the relays live.
