I have an M7040 that you must increase the RPMs to lift heavier items. It used to lift them, no problem and now its extremely slow even when increasing RPMs.

Back story. The tractor went into the lake last year. I changed filters and fluids three times to flush the system. Then, after the tractor ran for 20 hours, I changed it again.
The fluid that is in it now still looks brand new. The valve to the left of the seat that adjusts the 3-point hitch has been stuck for several months, so I know it wasn't moved.

Could be damage to the pump, the lift cylinders, or the valve.
You need the WSM (aka service manual) and a pressure gauge to test the system.

Thank you for your help!!!
I did a pressure test at the rear remote

Good tractor

300 psi at idle

800 psi at 1500 RPMS

1400 psi at 2000 rpm’s

Tractor in question

Zero psi at idle

500 psi at 1500 rpm’s

800 psi at 2000 rpm’s

Pressure relief valve issue, or pump issue.
Need the tractor's serial number to give you more detailed info as there is 20 sub models of M7040.

Does it have any added implements or valves?
Like a loader?
Rear remotes?
Third function?

How is the steering and shuttle shifting?

It has rear remote, but nothing hooked to it. Use the 3 point hitch to launch boats. The steering and shifting seem to be good. And no front end loader

Is the rear remote hooked up to here?
And if it is can you get a picture of that connection?

Picture of the other connection?
Does it have a block like the above picture or just a couple pipes?

I think I would start pressure testing at the pump end not the rear.

Per serial number you should have bracket and pipe and a loop.

Where are you taking the pressure measurements?

To many components between the pump and my testing point that could be bad? My thought was to rule out the cylinders possibly bypassing internally, which is why I tested at the rear, but you have a valid point.

I took the pressure measurement at the 3point in the picture u sent
Which picture?
Do you mean in the WSM?

If the Cylinders were bypassing it would be super easy to tell,
Just take off each of these hoses and If there is fluid coming out, the cylinders are bad.

The picture I sent from the parts lookup with the pipe on it.
Did you put a tee in place of that loop and then operate the three point to test it?

If you just removed a line and pressure tested the pump output without a tee.
I can tell you without a doubt the pump is shot!
