Bought a used M6800S 2wd with 607 hours. After changing transmission oil and filters, decided to fill the fuel tanks. The tanks at time of purchase had a little more than quarter of tank. After topping off tank took a spin around the country block. When I got back it appears that fuel is leaking from the top of right side tank. I can't really tell if it is coming out of the sensor but the four connections to fuel tubes seem ok.

Has anyone experience similar problem? I'm not finding anything in the parts breakdown manual if the sensor has a replacement gasket. Looking for someone to point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Disassembled this and that to get to the top of the fuel tank to notice the leakage coming from the sensor. Tried tightening the five nuts...no good. Called the parts guy to find out if there is a gasket between the sensor and tank...indeed there is. Expect to get it replace by weeks end.:)

Thanks for following up even though we couldn't help! Careful you don't get any gasket bits in the tank if you need to scrape it.

Alright here's the deal. Replaced rubber gasket between sensor and fuel tank. Old casket definitely bad. R&R fuel filter, fuel bowl screen. Loosen nuts around injectors to get air out of lines. Everything runs pretty good. What I notice after making 600 hour maintenance is that if one does not follow the Kubota maintenance schedule one will have problems.
