Hey Guys, I'm new to this site and have found it to be very helpful and a good read. My problem is the clutch on my M6800 has gone out. After making adjustments in and out on the clutch cable I have concluded the clutch plate is pretty well gone. What I need to know is opinions about genuine Kubota parts v after marker parts. I’m lucky to have the choice of dealers in my area. One dealer quoted me an estimate of $2470.00 to repair the tractor using all Kubota parts, plus $300 for pickup and delivery of my tractor. Another dealer quoted me an estimate of $1545.00 using aftermarket parts, and no pickup or delivery charges. Both estimates are from licensed dealers. If I go simply on cost then the lower cost wins. However, I have no experience with aftermarket parts at all for anything. This is where you guys come in to play, your opinions and advice will be very much appreciated as I believe some of you have traveled this road and your thoughts and experiences that are expressed to will certainly weight and influence my decision. Thanks very much for taking the time to read this and respond.
