M6060 with cab headliner and seat cushions

Hello Orange tractor people,
What a nice site. I was wondering if anyone has sourced headliners or replacement seat cushions for a Kubota cab tractor? I recently purchased M6060 tractor with 220hrs and it is a very nice tractor but was apparently used all 220hrs by a heavy smoker and I think I would like to replace both headliner and seat cushions. I could check with my dealer but assume pricing would be high? I also would like to add two more remotes at the rear but may consider just installing a multiplier system from one of my hydraulic suppliers...any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Thank you

Headliners are one piece affairs and are a dealer only item. Have no idea on cost but probably not too bad. Depends on what seat you have but if it's a Grammer, you'll need to replace the seat and I'd go aftermarket on that. The seat is an ISO mount so any aftermarket seat will fit. The Grammer / oem seat will cause you sticker shock. Lets just say north of a grand.

Could you have a headliner repaired like in cars or trucks? Is it removable hard backer (cardboard type material) covered on foam backed cloth?

Thanks for your reply, I was hoping to just replace the bottom and back cushion as the seat is good otherwise. I am going to see what the dealer wants for the headliner. It looks perfect but I cannot get the smoke smell out of it or the seat

Sounds like I better do some more scrubbing and wet vacuuming on mine! Like I said both are in perfect looking condition they just wreak of old smoke smell. Thanks for the information.
I am new to this site; where or who would be the best place to ask what size disc for a M6060 tractor? I really want to do some field leveling not working plowed ground.

Welcome aboard. Are the newer cabs outfitted with a porous-surfaced headliner? The headliner on my L4240 seems to have an impervious coating that looks like it could be scrubbed. I wonder if one of the outfits that does fire / smoke / water restorations might be able to offer help.

Another source of odor that may need addressed is the fan, coils and ducting for the HVAC.

We have upholstery shops around here that would rebuild the seat for about the cost of one of those cushions.

Might want to try Odoban. Spray the headliner, seat and everything else in cab with it. Works good at eliminating odors permanently. I get my Odoban at Walmart.

You might want to try a ozone generator. they use these to get the smell out of cars that were owned by smokers before they sell them. They can be purchased on Amazon for around $100.00.

Had that exact issue with my M9 cab unit. It stunk when I used the ac (especially) or the heater and no one ever smoked in it. Was the ac evap stinking. Loaded with filth and vegitating. Not an easy job to clean but doable. Sprayed it in place with ZEP in a sptitzer bottle and rinsed it with my garden sprayer with warm water numerous times. Now it smells nice and fresh inside. Took the roof off and replaced the gasket with a new one, gasket was hard and cracked. 65 bucks, dealer.

Baking soda on a paper plate will help clean up the smell. Also a container with some real vanilla will help.
