Sigh! I just got my 2006 M6040 back from the shop with new FEL cables/hydraulics, joystick, front-end rebuild, etc...

And today, dang if I didn't hit a stump while mowing in some planted pines and practically ripped my fuel tank off as I damaged the housing/brackets and put a tear (where a mounting bolt goes into the fuel tank from bracket) in the fuel tank.

I'm going to fix myself, but I need advice.

Who do I order the fuel tank from? Dang, Kubota parts are killing me. Any used fuel tank suggestions?
Is this job a real pain in da...?
Suggestions?

Thanks!!!!! :)

finding used is going to be rough.
Try West Kentucky Tractor Parts.
New is Coleman Equipment.

Just order it from your local dealer! The shipping costs from Messick or Coleman will be tough on the wallet.

My M6040 had took a hit to the fuel tank. It bent the mounting brackets up a slight bit. Be aware at least on cab models this can interfere with the throw of the 4x4 actuator and if out-of-place enough, it will keep the 4x4 linkage from fully engaging.
