I'm curious of a few things after ordering my new Kubota. Just things I wonder how they work for people. Firstly the constant pto rpm feature? How well does this work? How would it help it hold rpm running a generator or like mowing? Secondly this turning feature whare the front wheels spin faster to pull it around a corner faster? I saw it in action but it seemed kinda weird. How long do these tractors usually last? Thanks!

Ok, your questions are vague to say the least!
But here goes..........

How they work for people? How does the corporation work for people - or how does the equipment work for people?

I would say both do very well!!!!

The constant PTO rpm feature - unless I am way off base - I am sure a computer regulates the fuel to keep the rpm at the correct setting, I would imagine that works well too. However - I have never had a computer on any of my Kubotas.

The Bi-speed turning has been out a while - simply put, when the front end is turned more than 25 degrees it kicks in the bi-turn, forcing the machine to turn much sharper than normal - again, no experience with this feature, I have seen it on Kubota lawn mowers and it does allow a sharper turning radius.

Lastly - and more importantly .... do Kubota's last? mmmmmmmmmm..................

Years or Hours?

This boils down to user upkeep and maintenance. They only snafu I would think on the newer machines is the computers - they crap out, no easy fix. Also on the big boys you have DPF and regenerations all that fun stuff too.

But do they last? I have 3 that are 30 years old - run like a bull through a china shop.

ARE you getting the wheeled version or the Krawler version?

Next question - why did you pick THIS version of Kubota tractor? You have an orchard? Or narrow farm scenario ?

I've no experience with the "constant PTO RPM" feature but it cannot be anything more than, perhaps, a more sensitive governor.

Bi-Speed Turn has been around for decades but is an expensive and uncommon option. I did not know that it was offered on the M5 tractors.

I've only seen two tractors with Bi-Speed Turn, a M135 about 5 years ago and my 1993 B1750HST. I find it useful for my B1750, which is used mostly with a MMM to mow my lawn as it allows me to mow around a very short radius and without turf damage. I expect that I would find it less useful in a larger tractor. Moreover, it should always be turned off when front weights of a FEL is mounted to avoid premature wearing of the turning clutches.

Sorry for the vaugness, kinda a broad question. Yes we have orchards which is why we want it. Plus extra tractor for snow plowing in winter so yay. It's wheeled but wider than normal tires. I have good upkeep and matinance thus why i have 2 30 year old happy jd tractors. Here the issue, i also have a 4 year old jd orchard tractor that was falling apart little by little since day 1. Transmission is going now so yea.... deere did not stand behind it either, just said well that sucks sorta thing. Just kinda why i ask so many questions about this, i see alot of Kubota around now and lots of people happy with them. Glad to hear you have old lasting ones though!

Good to know! May be nice in sharp orchard turns. I assume it's an electronic regulated governer maybe? Or really sensitive. I like the fact that it looks like a low center of gravity because lots of hills around here.
