I'm having a problem with my M5700 cab model dieing. It runs good for a while, then slowly starts to lose power like it's running out of fuel. The plunger on top of the fuel filter, that's used for bleeding, gets sucked down all the way and then it cuts off. After a few minutes, the plunger will rise up and I'm able to crank it right up. The overflow/vent hoses underneath the tractor had been stopped up by wasp at one time, but I cleaned them out and I have changed the fuel filter. Any ideas?

Several yrs back I owned a M4900 that acted similar to your tractor. There was a tiny screen in fuel shut off on water separator housing that was clogged. I cleaned screen then engine ran fine. Another thought is the fuel tank venting?

You can loosen your fuel cap and tape it in place loose, and give it a run to see if your tank is venting.
