I just purchased a 2005 M5700 with 155 hours. The tractor is like new but the shuttle shift is very stiff. The previous owner's son had been using the clutch every time he used the shuttle shift. Any help would be appreciated.:)

Open station or cab model? Hyd or sync shuttle? I suggest to lubricate control linkages.

Hydraulic shuttle transmission with hydraulic wet clutch. Open station.

Actually the hyd shuttle is the clutch. There's also a dry damper clutch that never gets disengaged. There are 2 brgs on shuttle shift linkage that could be faulty or the shuttle shift valve control shaft could be binding.

Thank you very much for the advice. I will check both and let you know what happens.

Finally fixed the problem. Found out that the shuttle shift was mechanical and not hydraulic as previously indicated. The local Kubota dealer suggested that I lubricate the linkage with PB blaster and try it for a while. I sprayed all the linkage and used it for about an hour and it became easy to shift. Thanks, again, for all of the advice.
