m4030su 4 th gear problem

Hello I am new to kubotas and it seems if Kubota has any repair info it is locked away in their vault not willing to share with the tractor owners.
anyhow the 4 th gear whines loud wondering if there were anything I can do trying to avoid trany removal.
any input would be appreciated.

No it's not locked away, but it is expensive for that model!

Greetings Mickey D and Wolfman.Don't know how long just got it. Has 5000 hr on it. Have worked on JD and Ford and Massey but not sure how to start on kubota

5000 Hours is a lot of hours, it's been worked hard.

Drain the oil and check for metal in the fluid, if it has metal your going to need to get into it.

I would do that before it does some serious un-repairable damage.
