M135 glowplugs

I have a 2009 M135X. I discovered that all 4 glowplugs are "dead". does anyone have an idea why this would have happened? I do not want to put 4 new ones in (150 apiece i think) to havr it happen again. I could accept 1 being gone but not all 4 at once. My dealer is pretty much useless. Thanks

Just a guess but maybe they are always on and burned out? Im not sure what kind of duty cycle they have. Maybe a issue with the key switch

They are computer controlled based on temp and it is currently working. Yes I had 2 out and neither would heat. The resistance on all is in the hundreds of M ohms. spec is .95ohms

If in fact all 4 GP's are faulty I'd suspect a faulty control relay or timer.
