M series floor mat/coating

Hey guys. New owner of a M5660 here. Wanting some suggestions on what y’all did to the floor. Dealer said Kubota doesn’t make a custom mat for the M series tractors. Any suggestions?

Truck bed liner spray, did it to mine holds up pretty well. I used the rustoleum brand at Lowe's.

If they did (for yours), the price would shock you. I replaced the worn out floor mat on the floor of my M9000 open station last fall. It was $145.00 but I wanted the form fitting mat so I got one. The push pin fasteners were extra, a buck a pop x 12.

Probably spray on bed liner would work but be aware that as it wears off (and it will) recoating an already coated floor plate can be an issue. Bed liner paint don't like to be overcoated.

Think I'd stick with whatever is on there and just paint in every year or two.

So you think just keeping the bare metal and repainting would be the best idea.. I didn’t realize you couldn’t re coat truck bed liner. Maybe plastidip would be the better choice. I know it can be re coated. I considering just buying a stall mat from tractor supply and cutting to fit.

Let me know how you cut that stall mat. I have found them to be hard to cut and to look good when you are done.

I would like a mat on my L2501 also.

I cut a stall mat for the bed of my Honda pioneer with a Stanley knife and a jig saw with a fine tooth blade. It worked well. I was actually out of town today and ran across a Kubota dealer and they were able to order a custom mat for my tractor. $130 shipped to my house. Not sure why my local dealer said it wasn’t an option, I’m just glad it worked out!

Was the mat that you bought from Kubota or an outside vendor. If it is an outside vendor could you post the info for us when you get it?

It was from Kubota. I will post the info when I get it though. They don’t have many Kubota options but tractormat.com looks like they makes nice mats.

The one for my M9 was a Kubota dealer item. The issue with my older M is there is a hump in the middle and the main shit lever is there as well so I needed a molded to fit mat that would lay flat on the floor plates but still fit the hump and have the main shift lever cutout.

Just looked at The tractor mat website. Only 2 Kubota tractors listed and their price is substantially higher than the one I bought from Kubota. They want $174.00 plus shipping. I paid way less and no shipping (from my dealer).

They are nice, made like a Weatherguard mat. Wouldn't work for me anyway because of the main shift lever.

Search for Herculiner floor protection on here should be some photos on my post. With 480 hours in nothing but sand the herculiner is still holding up great.

When I bought my M5660 I had my dealer order me a mat from a M6060... it fit perfectly.

Says it fits on the M5660. I plan on removing the floor pan and taking it down the road to the Rhino Lining place and have them spray it.

Musta discontinued it. Both my M's have rubba floor mats.

This may be a little late, but I just took delivery of my M5660 and I had the dealer install a floor mat for the M5660. The sales guy said he was going to offer it to every M5660 buyer. It looks awesome!
