Saw this at my dealer yesterday. Nice setup.
Why is no one concerned that the loader bucket is going to hit that blower if it comes down all the way? Surely that machine is not designed to be used that way. FEL should come off..it serves no purpose with a front snow blower mounted right?

Thanks for the tip on the synthetic oil!

Don't know anything about payback on a solar investment either, but if I wanted to live where I do, it's the only option. Closest electrical pole is about 5km away.
Same, I am off grid as well.

No, that's not my gear.
I have the 64" commercial blower, and didn't get a backhoe.

re: the DPF... So this is my first tractor, and was bought to maintain the new property we just moved into.
I thought long and hard about an LX2610, but I went with the LX3310 to get the 27hp @ the mid PTO (vs 19hp on the LX2610 ) specifically to power the snowblower.
All my research suggested that snowblowers eat HP for breakfast, and job #1 for the tractor is going to be clearing snow. The new place is off grid on solar power, with a >500ft driveway into a large open courtyard between the house and garage.
If I need a diesel delivery for the back-up generator, the truck needs to be able to get in here, no excuses. It gets cold up here, and we do get some serious snow.
Being able to get out of the house for beer will also be nice!

I can report that I was out for the first blower run yesterday morning, clearing about 12" of lake effect snow from the last 2 days, and the tractor / blower combo exceeded my wildest expectations! I'm very pleased with the performance so far. Pretty sure I won't ever have to worry about running out of horsepower to clear snow.

I will say the tractor did take 2 tries to start, but it was minus 17deg C overnight at my place, and I forgot to use the block heater, so not too bad I guess. If it hadn't started on the second try, I was going to stop and plug her in for an hour or 2, but it was all good!
I did make sure she was good and warmed up before I headed out to clear the snow. ( took about 5-7 minutes )
I'm thinking in the future, any time it's below about minus 10 deg C or so, I'm going to plug her in for a bit before I try to start her up.

I'm at about 12hrs now, so I'll let you know when I do the first regen, and how that all goes.

All I read was need to get out of house for beer. Good man, no additional requirements necessary.

Yes it is. That is the K-Connect setup. Why they have it and the loader on at the same time I have no idea, because I certainly wouldn't want to deliver it that way with the loader in the air, LOL
Kubota makes 2 types of midPTO front blower mounts. The K Connect has a manual subframe mount and an auto hitch version. Auto hitch is crazy expensive and really hard to put on/off. Manual subframe isnt bad, but plan on 1-2 hours every seasonal transition to get it on/off. You obviously cannot use the loader with the front blower on..that is just for show.

GPoutdoors has the manual version, he has this video and another showing it being put on.

I was considering front on my L6060 so I looked into it a few months ago. Just too costly...over $10k for front vs $4700 for rear...and rear is much beefier of an implement. Im just adding a nice rear camera system with inside mounted lens along with extra rear light bar.

Oh here is the auto hitch.

I still like both options...Front blower with rear angle blade or rear blower with front bucket or angle plow. Snow machine!

I didn't ask, but here in Soviet Canukistan the MSRP on that LX3310 is $40,000 BEFORE you add loader, K-Connect, blower and backhoe.

As for that style backhoe, I wish I had one like that with it's own seat. Because it sure ruined my seat and ride quality when I added the backhoe to my B.
Adding the swivel deleted the suspension and the lock mechanism that hold the seat down in the locked position is the absolute worst design I have ever seen.
If you want a nice integrated seat on Kubota, you need the Construction TLB series B26, L47, M62. However they dont have cab options from factory yet. You can get a Curtis cab for the L47 or M62. More expensive than the factory on other units and it doesnt include install which is a day or 2.

Because we don't own it!! Bahahaha.

Yes, cannot be used like that. I have no idea why they have it there like that. I wouldn't even try and transport it like that.

Where I park my tractor, my loader is up over my backhoe to save room, but I made a rack to rest it on because mine seeps down overnight.

Thats true , but I added cruise control, arm rests, tilt wheel and a Kubota rear work light.Whwn Curtis has a cab for it I'm putting one on, Curtis has a habit of making cabs that work with the backhoe without resorting to dual seats etc.
If/when you get it, I'd love to see photos. Sitting inside away from the noise/weather would be a game changer for owning a backhoe.

I would guess that the equipment is staged for delivery. It could not be used in that configuration.
Yes, if the FEL comes down, it will damage the blower, but until it's off-loaded at the delivery destination, that's the dealers problem.

So... I'm a newbie, so take this for what it's worth, but I thought the manual sub-frame and blower was easier to hook up than trying to remove the LA535 FEL LOL
Seriously, it's pretty simple. The hardest part is getting under the tractor to install the drive shaft from the mid PTO spline to the K Connect sub-frame.
As long as you have the blower tilted back slightly as specified in the manual, the rest of the blower install is a breeze.
Actually, as a newbie to tractors, but a Millwright with 30+ years under my belt, I feel like there's a lot of good thought and engineering has gone into the Kubota stuff, like the K-connect and the SSQA loader deal for the loader bucket / pallet forks attachment etc..

I dont like taking FELs off either...probably never will on my machine. The M62 had it permanently attached and I was never remiss about it.
